KBC 14: Amitabh Bachchan recreates Agneepath monologue on “Gold Medalist” Mirabai Chanu’s request

India’s one of the most popular game shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati, is back with its 14th season. Along with the contestant, a bunch of Indian celebrities will also join the game. Interestingly, in the upcoming episode of KBC 14, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu will appear with boxer Nikhat Zareen.

Giving a sneak peek into the episode, the channel shared a short video clip, in which Mirabai Chanu can be seen requesting Big B to perform his iconic ‘Vijay Dinanath Chauhan’ monologue from his film Agneepath. The audience applauded as Amitabh gladly did the speech at the weightlifting champion's request.

The video clip features Amitabh adopting Vijay's body language and delivering the famous line, "Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, baap ka naam Dinanath Chauhan, umar 36 saal, 9 mahina, 8 din aur ye 16 ghanta chaalu hai."

In the upcoming episode, both the Gold Medalists will play the game while sharing some lesser-known incidents of their life. In one of the snippets, Zareen will talk about an incident when she was beaten black and blue with a bleeding nose during a wrestling match. Nikkhat also revealed that after seeing her injured, her mother started crying and expressed her concern for the athlete’s marriage. Upon this, Zareen had told her mom, “Ammi aap tension kyu lerahi ho, agar naam hoga to dulho ki line lag jaani hai”.

The episode will telecast on Sony channel on September 5, 2022. In one of the earlier episodes, actor Amir Khan also participated in the show along with two army officials ahead of his latest release Laal Singh Chaddha.
