While we are just a week away from witnessing James Cameron’s visual spectacle Avatar: The Way Of Water, a new trailer for the film arrived on Wednesday and it features new music from global artist The Weeknd. The new clip features a snippet of a new track written by The Weeknd titled ‘Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)’. The song is focused on Jake and Neytiri’s family as The Weekend’s sings, “I thought I could protect you from paying for my sins.” The Weeknd’s vocals play throughout the trailer and fits perfectly with the theme of the film, which also talks about the environment and the planet’s climate.
The ‘Blinding Lights’ singer previously teased his music for upcoming sequel a with a cryptic tweet on December 4, writing “12.16.22” which is the release day for Way of the Water. The tweet also featured a 12-second music clip featuring the blue Avatar logo. “#AvatarTheWayOfWater x @theweeknd,” the official Avatar account shared after the singer’s tweet.

‘Nothing Is Lost (You Give me Strength)’ is set to be released as part of the Avatar: The Way of Water soundtrack and arrives December 15. The track is produced by Swedish House Mafia. Meanwhile, Avatar: The Way of Water comes to theaters on December 16.
